Liza’s Light selected as 2025 Children’s Charity by Carnival Memphis

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Liza’s Light has been selected as a 2025 Children’s Charity by Carnival Memphis! This recognition is a testament to our mission of honoring Liza Wellford Fletcher's legacy by giving back to the Memphis community she loved so dearly. As a Carnival Memphis Children’s Charity, Liza’s Light will receive vital support to drive forward our goal of raising $7 million for phase-one construction of the Liza Wellford Fletcher Stadium at the University of Memphis.

This new, state-of-the-art facility will provide a transformative home for the university’s soccer and track programs, ensuring our student-athletes have the resources and space they need to excel both on and off the field. With the help of Carnival Memphis, we’re creating a lasting legacy that celebrates community, resilience, and the spirit of giving back.
